The sample was recovered at depth during the Vertical Inventory and filed under geology, over the objection of the geologist, whose report survives in summary: the sample is consistent with no stratum, predates the shaft it was found in, and is warm in a way the instruments describe as recent. The geologist’s further remarks have been struck, and the geologist has been reassigned to where the sample was found, to continue the disagreement locally.
Refined, the mineral is suitable for nutritional enrichment and is so used. Staff are directed to NOTICE S&F/3-071 regarding the hue, which the mineral helps with.
