Description
Standard-issue field jacket, navy, bearing the phrase QUESTION AUTHORITY — EVEN THIS ONE across the reverse. The wording was never approved. It was entered into production by an officer of the Office of Public Dissent whose mandate has since been revoked and whose division is closed pending review.
The Ministry does not endorse the questioning of authority, and least of all this one. Insubordination is not an authorized use of a garment. The instruction is reproduced here for completeness and rescinded in the same breath.
The full run has been recalled and filed. The Ministry keeps everything on record; it does not release everything. No units remain available for civilian handling, and none will be issued.
